Boat Tour of the Vltava by Day

The great Czech composer Bedrich Smetana completed his musical tribute to the Vltava in only 19 days and on the last page of his composition made a tragic and unbelievable discovery: “I am completely deaf.” Hardly a visitor takes the time to discover the river in its 424 kilometer entirety, yet a boat tour of the section that flows through Prague by day or by night leaves different, but nonetheless lasting impressions. While you will be able to witness the liveliness of the city by day, at night you will be able to take pleasure in the romantic flair of the floodlit Vyšehrad fortress and the Prague castle. The boat dock is only five walking minutes away from the center of town in order to give the visitor a glimpse of the golden city from a different, more poetic side.
